Design

The design for the dispenser revolves around three main parameters: housing the gum dispensing mechanism, fitting comfortably into the user's pocket or bag, and allowing the gum to "pop out" of the device, creating a fun and shareable moment for users. Our engineering team tested multiple mechanical concepts focused around delivering this joyful experience while integrating it into a comfortable form factor with a clean aesthetic that allows this product to seamlessly integrate into quips existing suite of products.

Refill

In order to develop the perfect refill vessel, we prototyped and tested multiple form factors, in various materials, to create a protective packaging that can be easily loaded into the dispenser. Through user research we were able to understand how people store their refills, as well as the optimal amount of gum that was necessary per pack.
